Foundation

18. March 1991

The TCM-Klinik Bad Kötzting, First German Clinic for Traditional Chinese Medicine, was founded in 1991 and is a state-approved hospital. The first patient was hospitalized in March 1991.

Award in the field of Chinese medicine

15. April 2008

In 2008, the TCM-Klinik Bad Kötzting was awarded the “International Award of Contribution to Chinese Medicine 2008” by the State Administration of TCM (Ministry of Health in China) and the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (World Community of TCM Societies) most important award in the field of Chinese medicine.

Award from the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Health

23. April 2008

In the same year, the clinic was awarded 1st prize in the “Food per Health” competition in the hospitals category by the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Health.

Designation to University Hospital at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine

3. February 2010

In 2010 the TCM-Klinik Bad Kötzting was officially named University Hospital at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.

Opening of the new outpatient clinic of the TCM Klinik Bad Kötzting in SINOCUR

27. February 2016

The new outpatient clinic of the TCM Klinik Bad Kötzting in SINOCUR is opened.

China-Germany Center of traditional Chinese medicine Bad Kötzting opens

8. December 2018

At the end of 2018, the China-Germany TCM center Bad Kötzting was opened in the TCM clinic Bad Kötzting. It is intended to promote traditional Chinese medicine in Europe and China and to strengthen cultural exchange between the countries.
